RCP’S education program bridge the gap to quality education by providing school supplies, tutoring, and advocating for refugee inclusion.
Our Education Program fosters resilience, empowerment, and social inclusion by providing a comprehensive learning experience. It equips refugee children with the tools and support they need to thrive:
Direct Educational Support:
RCP champions access to quality primary and secondary education for refugee children, building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills. We go beyond just enrollment by providing school supplies, such us uniforms, shoes, and even transportation. This comprehensive approach ensures refugee children feel equipped and included alongside their peers.
Bridging Classes:
The RCP’s bridging class is designed for children who are supposed to be in mainstream schools but could not secure a place due to various reasons, such as lack of documentation, being new to the area, or financial constraints. The objective is to keep these children off the streets, away from drugs and sexual abuse, and to prepare them for the next academic year.
Computer Classes:
These classes empower children with digital literacy skills, opening doors to online resources, educational materials, and communication tools.
Homework Help:
RCP’s assist children with schoolwork assigned to be completed outside of school hours, but with some important considerations for their unique circumstances.Our program tackles language barriers, helping children understand homework content and facilitating language acquisition.By removing barriers and providing essential support, the Education Program empowers refugee children to reach their full potential.
